Inspirational People:

At the Jamboree we heard speeches from Inky Johnson, President Donald Trump, and listened to a variety of amazing live music. Inky Johnson spoke about his life-changing accident that paralyzed his right arm. It was very inspirational how he thought of it as a blessing and not as negative event. We heard from our President who said the the Scouts were amazing people and who are on the right path for successful lives. We heard music from X Ambassadors and Jessie Chris.

Activities

The Jamboree was such an amazing experience with many fun things to do. Everywhere you go there is a fun activity, merit badges and exhibits. A few of the major activities include: rock-climbing, rappelling, rafting, biking, obstacle courses on land and in water and many zip-lines. There are a variety of merit badges from Eagle required merit badges to geology, to even shooting merit badges. You also get to have a day of service in which you help the local community or national parks.

Shops:

There are a ton of places to buy or get free stuff. There are four trading posts that have everything from water bottles, to patches, to solar chargers. There are many shops along the way offering snacks including some of the best lemonade we have ever had. But be prepared for overpriced goods. There are also many tents where companies advertise their products with samples, activities, and free stuff.

We had an amazing time here at camp and will remember this Jamboree for the rest of our lives.
